P6/7 took their topic learning outdoors this week and hunted in the playground to see if they could find any bones (the plastic laminated type!). Once all of the bones had been found we returned to the classroom and were able to use them and each other’s knowledge to learn the names of the main bones and their location in the skeleton. We also worked in groups to chalk out a body and label as many of the bones as we could remember.
