We held our annual Christmas Truce Football Tournament in school today (5.12.2017). We have been hosting this tournament for 4 years now. It was great to welcome two new schools to the tournament, Ballymoyer and Belleek Primary School, as well as our friendly neighbours Mountnorris, Kingsmills and Poyntzpass Primary School. The tournament was for Key Stage 2 pupils with both a girls and a boys section. Overall winners in both the boys and girls sections were Poyntzpass Primary School. It was great to see football being played in the correct spirit as well as lots of good football skills on show. We look forward to more tournaments being organised in 2018. Thank you to Mrs McCulla for helping to referee games as well as Mr McWilliams for cutting the grass on the school pitch.
