P6/7 learnt all about Archimedes theory of displacement through our Titanic topic. The pupils worked together in groups to create a tinfoil boat which we then tested by seeing how many marbles would fit inside before it sank. One of the groups got 110 marbles! Points for teamwork, success and who was closest to their predictions.
