To mark anti-bullying week P6/7 completed a number of lessons focused on the theme of standing up to bullying. The pupils worked in trios to read and discuss a bullying scenario and then turn it into a piece of dialogue. This task allowed the pupils to put their recent speech mark learning into practice. It also gave us the opportunity to learn about using adverbs and taking a new line for a new speaker. Each pupil had to write their own lines and together the pupils agreed on a positive solution to the bullying. After some practising the pupils were ready to perform their scenarios in front of their peers.
