For our writing this half term we have been looking at instructional writing. We wrote a shared piece of writing on how to make a cup of tea. The pupils worked in pairs to write one instruction each. To finish, the pupils enjoyed looking at instructions in recipe books and on jars of food to find 'imperative' or 'bossy' verbs.
