P6/7 created junk art to mark children’s art day.
Through our ‘Our Place’ topic we have been learning about where we live. For our junk art we thought about the impact we can have on our environment, particularly the impact of our plastic waste on the seas. Many of the pupils used this as inspiration and used plastic junk to create sea scenes or sea creatures.
Some of the pupils came up with their own ideas for junk art.
A great variety of creations, which all look fantastic. Well done to everyone who took part.
