We travelled to Portadown today to participate in the annual Indoor Football 5-aside competition. We finished runners up in a strong competition with many large schools. The boys played some excellent football during their five games. Daniel C in nets was in fantastic form, displaying excellent handling and distribution. Harry C was excellent in defence over the 5 games, strong in the tackle and helping keeping two clean sheets in the five games. Bobby McC played really well for being in P6 and slotted in beside Harry in defence, showing some good touches and passes throughout the games. Reuben W was fantastic throughout the tournament, strong running and 4 goals topped off his commanding performance throughout all games. Matthew C (captain) was excellent yet again, his movement and trickier caused defences all sorts of trouble, helping himself to 3 goals. Anthony B participated in his first tournament for the football team and showed some good passing ability and looked lively as a forward. Jayden D showed some excellent footwork throughout the tournament and an eye for goal, scoring 3 goals!
