Mummifying a Tomato!

We are learning about the mummification process in class for our topic work. We had to try and mummify a tomato using the stages of the mummification process! We cut the tomato open and spooned out all the 'organs'. We then filled the tomato with 'natron' salt and left in a dry, dark place for 2 weeks. Stay tuned for the results!
