This month we have changed our roleplay area to Percy’s Shed. We have been taking on the roll of Percy the Park Keeper as he looks after his animals and plants bulbs around the park. The boys and girls have been extending their vocabulary and dramatic play skills.
We also went to the Reco Box to do leaf printing. We developed dexterity in our fingers and the muscles in our hands as we pressed down on the leaves, without smudging the paint. We observed our prints closely and noticed the veins and the midrib, and noticed that they were all different shapes and sizes.
