We have been working super hard in P3 this week. For numeracy, we worked on our division tables, focusing on dividing by 2, 5 and 10. Our recall of these sums has improved so much in only a week! We looked at directions and were able to move around a map using forward, backward, right and left turn. We created an airport departure time board for our topic Around the World.
For literacy, we independently wrote a recount of our weekend. We also looked at when to use a and an. We are now writing full sentences independently during our comprehension work - super impressed!
In PE, we continued with our invasion games. We completed our Santa Daily Mile today for the healthy body, healthy mind theme.
We had a new classmate this week - Jingles the Elf! He has been getting up to all sorts!
