Our second week back to school has been great, we have all continued to settle back into our daily routine. For literacy we have been looking at common and proper nouns whilst consolidating our understanding of capital letters. Our class novel work focused on describing Mr Stink and Chloe, lots of great adjectives were used to describe both characters. During numeracy P4 revised 2 and 3 digit addition with extension work focusing on carrying over whilst P5 added 3 and 4 digit numbers progressing to carrying over. Our new topic was introduced this week, ‘The Rainforest’ which linked into our art lesson drawing toucans.
