Our topic focus this week was on writing a weather report with a partner. Next week we will role play as weather reporters using a variety of weather symbols.
Literacy focused on writing a plan to describe a picture of a classroom, we then used our plans to write descriptively using our senses as well as adding correct punctuation. The children also looked at different diaries and used highlighters to identify the key features, something we will continue with next week.
It’s been a week of recalling and learning new times tables during our numeracy lessons. All the children completed written work and developed their skills practically using Lego and cubes. Please continue to learn and recall your times tables at home.
For RE we chatted about ‘Belonging’ and all the different places we belong to and how it makes us feel when we belong somewhere for example Mullaglass Primary School, sports clubs, church etc.
