This week during literacy we completed spelling activities focusing on our sound of the week. For Remembrance Day the children wrote acrostic poems and completed some mindfulness colouring in.
Our numeracy continued with multiplication to solve word problems enabling everyone to recall key skills from last week's learning. We also looked at rounding to the nearest 10 and 100 with P5s progressing to rounding to the nearest 1000.
For art we planned our rainforest shoebox which we hope to begin to create next week.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their PE time on Monday with Laurence and are looking forward to next week's session.
Reminder: Anyone who has not brought in their recycled junk items for their art can do so before next Wednesday 😊
