We wrote poems this week focusing on spring. We worked hard to add description and rhyming words to create rhythm. These have brightened up the entrance to our classroom. We checked on the apples from our mummification experiment last week and wrote about the impact the salt and baking soda had on preserving the apple.
During numeracy the children revised solving 1-step word problems. Lots of good progress with everyone progressing to 2-step word problems which were a little tricky. The children also completed activities focusing on calendars linking it back to our work last week on time.
