This week we have written and edited our diary entry of our experience in the rainforest! Everyone worked very hard and presented their diary beautifully for display in our classroom.
During ICT we worked with a partner to research facts about the rainforest. The children took turns typing a range of questions and completed excellent fact files. Everyone was very excited to use our new computers and iPads.
Our numeracy focused on revision of 3D shapes, recalling properties and creating models using straws. A brilliant activity to develop our thinking and problem solving skills. We also continued with our fraction work from last week.
Our Henri Rousseau art was completed this week and displayed in our classroom.
We also started a new class challenge this week focusing on increasing our time spent on Reading Eggs and Mathseeds each week.
