Today P4/5 had a surprise visit from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service.
Sean and Conan, two local Firemen spoke about the importance of fire safety in school and at home. They gave the boys and girls lots of great tips to keep safe at home and reminded them of the importance of having a plan in place with their family in the event of a fire.
Everyone had some fantastic questions and answers for both Sean and Conan. We were very lucky and got a tour of the fire engine and found out lots about the amount of water that is stored in a fire engine and the different equipment and safety gear they use in the event of a fire or accident.
