This week we have been learning about verbs and how they can enhance our writing. We completed comprehension focusing on a piece of text as well as developing our understanding of grammar including compound words, adjectives and similes.
Our numeracy focused on fractions recapping the basics of a whole, a half and a quarter then progressed to finding the fraction of an amount. We learnt about the numerator (top number) and the denominator (bottom number) of a fraction.
Our topic work focused on recalling layers of the rainforest then we learnt about different animals that live in the Amazon Rainforest.
