This week in P4/5 we have been writing descriptively about Charlie Bucket's house from our class novel 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Our focus was on adding adjectives to make our writing more detailed and grouping our ideas into paragraphs.
All week we have been calculating fractions of amounts and everyone has shown excellent understanding of this. P5s progressed to focusing on dividing by the denominator and multiplying by the numerator.
Our topic focused on changing states and how chocolate changes during the melting process. We further looked at lots of different solids, liquids and gases.
We started some Halloween art using Art for Kids Hub.
