This week P4/5 have been editing sentences to ensure their writing is punctuated correctly to include capital letters, commas and full stops. We also celebrated Roald Dahl Day and experimented to make our own magical potion similar to George's Marvellous Medicine. The children also wrote about their potion and the magical powers it could give them.
Our numeracy focused on subtracting mentally and subtracting written calculations to include with and without borrowing.
Topic work focused on learning about the process of how chocolate is made. The children learnt about the bean to bar process and were amazed to find out how long it takes to grow a coco tree.
We are having lots of fun in PE and developing our listening skills and game tactics.
