Throughout this week we have been working on money by revising the value of each coin and note. We also worked on making different amounts by using the least number of coins and started to work on calculating the total cost by buying different items.
We continued with our persuasive writing lessons and this week our focus was on trying to persuade Mr Greenaway to ban homework. Everyone worked very hard to add to our class debate by sharing their opinions and reasons for banning homework. We planned our writing using the ‘OREO’ approach then used our plan to write a letter. I have been very impressed with the progress we have made during writing activities over the past few weeks.
Our PE lesson was taken by Alex from Table Tennis Ireland. The children behaved brilliantly during this session and listened to and followed all instructions to perform some basic table tennis skills.
