This week we have started to complete work on our times tables which have included lots of chanting, games and written calculations.
During literacy, we spent time looking at a picture of a classroom that we chatted about and then focused on writing adjectives about what we could see. We finally wrote descriptively about the picture using our senses to imagine what the classroom was like. We also worked on adding commas to our writing to include lists and clauses.
We linked our theme of the month (kindness) into our PDMU lesson by focusing on how kind Chloe was to Mr Stink from our class novel then drew pictures to illustrate a time when someone had shown kindness to us.
As part of our topic work we started to write a weather report and next week we will act as a weather forecaster to present the weather to the class.
