This week we have been learning about newspaper report writing and identifying key features of a newspaper. We completed comprehension activities, apostrophes to show possession and synonyms.
Our numeracy focused on calculating area and revising our times tables and developing our mental maths skills to calculate answers quickly.
During PDMU the children chatted about worries and examples of what someone might worry about. We chatted about strategies to overcome feeling this way including using our classroom worry box.
We have had a busy week prepping for our entry to the Balmoral Show competition. It has been great to see so much enthusiasm and excitement from the children.
