This week P4/5 have been working on their descriptive writing skills including planning, writing and editing. We have shown lots of great skills and have identified areas we can focus on to further improve our writing.
Our numeracy focused on recalling our tables times learnt last year, completing activities to match and develop our recall. Next week we will progress to the next set of times tables. Times tables are a fundamental skill that can be applied across many areas in numeracy, additional practice at home would be beneficial.
We learnt about 'The Good Samaritian' during RE and the importance of helping others.
We had lots of fun painting this week focusing on the four seasons and will finish these next week.
The past couple of weeks we have had Joanne in from Relax Kids. The children have enjoyed learning about different parts of their brain and techniques to help them feel calm and relaxed.
