This week we have been writing poems about spring and chatting about the changes we have noticed in nature as well as completing comprehension activities and orally revising punctuation and grammar.
We started work on learning about the Easter story to write our own comic strip of the key events that occurred.
During numeracy we worked on solving word problems using our addition and subtraction skills. All children worked on solving 1-step problems then progressed to more challenging problems to include 2-step solving skills. We also looked at calendars this week again to familiarise ourselves with dates, days, months, weeks and reading and answering questions related to different months of the year.
For our art this week we started to complete Easter crafts which we will continue with next week before finishing for our Easter holidays.
