This week in P4/5 we have continued with our times tables work with P4 focusing on 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10s with P5 progressing to their 6, 7, 8 and 9s. Lots of hard work to solve multiplication and division calculations.
The children wrote instructions on how to melt chocolate then used these to melt chocolate to make rice krispie buns. We also focused on adding conjunctions to our writing, worked in groups to spot lots of adjectives in different pictures as well as comprehension.
We have been learning a new song for harvest which the children are enjoying and showing lots of enthusiasm.
The children completed their chocolate bar wrapper designs in small groups during art. Everyone worked brilliantly together to share ideas and encouraged each other.
