This week P4/5 have been revising the term noun and sorting nouns into two groups to include common and proper nouns.
During numeracy we continued with place value focusing on what each digit represents in a 2, 3 and 4 digit number. Everyone progressed to adding a variety of numbers with and without carrying across the tens and hundreds with P5 extending to the thousands.
Our new topic is 'Chocolate' and the children are very excited to learn all about the journey of chocolate, the different types of chocolate, looking at packaging, completing taste tests and so much more throughout this term.
For PDMU we focused on writing positive jars about ourselves and enjoyed completing an art activity that focused on the children adding lots of adjectives to their drawing to describe themselves.
P4/5 started their music class with Mr McClean this week. Mr McClean was super impressed with everyone's listening, participation and their behaviour.
Our class novel this term will be 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.
