P6/7 have been enjoying lots of learning linked to their topic this term.
We learnt about the constellations and drew them out on the playground before creating our own constellation in art. Then in literacy we wrote our own constellation myths and turned these into story books which we enjoyed reading on World Book Day. 🌌
We also made rockets and had great fun launching them to see whose rocket would travel the furthest. 🚀
The pupils also built space buggies and raced these in the hall to see which one was the fastest and which one could travel the furthest.
Our rockets and buggies let us learn about forces and carrying out a test in science.
