P6/7 enjoyed their visit to Bagenal's Castle, Newry to take part in a history workshop. The pupils were taken back in time and became pupils in a Victorian school. This linked in with our term 1 Victorians topic.
The pupils enjoyed lessons in reading, writing and arithmetic. The girls then learnt some sewing while the boys did technical drawing. We also got to experience drill and typical playground games.
We made sure to be on our best behaviour or face the range of Victorian punishments!
