Everyone has settled in really well to life in P6/7 and the pupils have enjoyed a wide range of lessons since starting back. We have been recapping our skills in the operations of adding, subtracting and multiplying in numeracy and in literacy have been revising our basic punctuation and learning about writing letters. We also enjoyed creating zentangle giraffe artwork.🦒 We’ve made a great start to our topic of WW1, learning about how the war started, the stories of some real WW1 soldiers and what the trenches were like. We really enjoyed getting to see real artefacts from WW1, which two of our pupils kindly brought in.
