P7 had a fantastic trip to Hillsborough Castle and Gardens. We were greeted at the castle entrance and immediately entered a role play of trying to get a job as a servant. We were toured around the castle and learnt about the various servant roles from the Victorian era. Unfortunately no one got hired as we were too young, but we certainly learnt a lot and it brought our term 1 topic learning to life. After lunch we enjoyed a walk through the gardens, looking at the beautiful scenery and checking out the various different points of interest.
