We were thinking about famous bears and read the story of Paddington Bear by Michael Bond. We watched the very old version of Paddington and the new one, and compared how they are similar and different. We worked in groups to act out the scene where Mr and Mrs Brown found Paddington at Paddington Station. Finally we made labels, just like Paddington’s, writing the words and punching the holes independently. Some of us even tied our own knots.
