P6/7 have been taking part in Sports Changes Life primary school ‘Honour Roll Schools Programme’. This was a 10-week intervention that incorporates a multi-sport programme with inspirational workshop discussions to raise the aspirations of young people and help with the transition from primary education to ‘big school’.
Each weekly session lasts for 90 minutes and uses sport to connect with young people and focuses on different topics that equip our young people for life in secondary school. Following this, we were able to go meet with other schools and have our final session in Stormont Pavilion.
