P6/7 have been very busy this term completing lots of lessons all linked to our topic of WW1.
✅ In P.E. we learnt some drill commands and tried out some marching.
✅ In art we used charcoal to create trench artwork and we also made clay poppy bowls to mark Remembrance Day.
✅ For I.C.T. we’ve been making hyperlinked PowerPoints about WW1.
✅ Through our literacy we’ve been learning about letter writing and had a go at both censoring letters and writing our own letters before dying them with tea to make them look aged.
✅ We really enjoyed making and trying out our periscopes and learnt about the science behind how they work.
